X-Balanced Speaker Unit

The HT-S2000 features an X-Balanced Speaker Unit, with a unique design that enhances both power and clarity, enabling the built-in subwoofer and front speaker to produce an immersive sound with minimal distortion.

Easy setup and Operation

Simply connect the HT-S2000 with your TV with an HDMI cable, plug in, and setup is completed. Our new smartphone app, Sony | Home Entertainment Connect, offers you easy setup and intuitive operation.2 You can also easily operate the soundbar with the supplied simple remote.

Compatible with Sony BRAVIA XR™ TVs

The soundbar system settings all appear automatically in the BRAVIA XR™ TV Quick Settings menu, so you can easily control the sound modes, sound field, and volume. The HT-S2000’s compact form allows the soundbar to be positioned discreetly beneath your Sony TV for a clean look.

Enhance your listening with wireless subwoofers and rear speakers

For enhanced listening, you have options: Our subwoofers (SA-SW3 and SA-SW5) and rear speaker set (SA-RS3S) are designed to expand your listening experience— automatically pair to the HT-S2000 once they are powered on.

Thanks to Sony’s virtual surround technology, the soundbar can position sound in vertical space – so you can experience three-dimensional audio without the need for in-ceiling or up-firing speakers. As well as Dolby Atmos® and DTS:X®, Vertical Surround Engine lends a more realistic, multi-dimensional sound to other formats too.

Surround made simple

Using front speakers only, Sony’s unique digital sound field processing technology virtually reproduces the surround sound field, with audio coming at you from both sides. You can enjoy rich, cinematic surround sound without cluttering your living space.

New upmixer brings surround to stereo content

With Sony's newly developed upmixer, you can experience three-dimensional surround sound not only with surround sound format content, but also with stereo content, like streaming video or music services. Analyzing the track in real time, our new algorithm extracts individual sound objects depending on their localization and reallocates them, giving you three-dimensional surround sound.

Deeper bass sound at any volume level

When compact speakers reproduce low bass frequencies there’s often a risk of distortion. To combat this, the HT-S2000 soundbar uses Sony’s unique signal processing technology to deliver dynamic extended bass no matter how loud you listen.

Comfortable control

A simple remote control combines a pleasing, hand-fit design with easy, intuitive operation. Convenient features include dedicated buttons for adjusting the volume and sound settings.

Effortless surround sound

For immersive movies, press the Sound Field button on your remote and enjoy surround sound that puts you right at the heart of the action. Or turn Sound Field off for pure speaker sound when listening to stereo music.

Soundbar position

If you have a BRAVIA with a multi-position stand, you can change the position of the TV stand and fit the HT-S2000 in front of the TV for a clean, elegant look.

Music Playback

The HT-S2000 soundbar is also ideal for listening to music. Connect your smartphone, tablet, or laptop and stream all your favorite tracks via Bluetooth® technology. Or connect a USB drive, and control playback from your phone, using the Sony | Home Entertainment Connect App.
